  • Kashering, Kashrus
  • fleishig, Kashering, Kashrus, milchig, pareve

We have a Pareve knife used for cutting onions. The knife was washed with dirty Fleishig dishes. May I Kasher the knife back to Pareve status?

One may Kasher from Fleishig to Pareve. Even from Fleishig to Milchig is permissible if it became Treif.

See here for a discussion on the topic.
